Conor first joined the University of Chester as an undergraduate student, studying on the BA Business Management Programme and focusing on the entrepreneurship pathway. This led him to study on the MSc Programme International Finance, where Conor also started as a Learning Facilitator. As a Lecturer, Conor has been involved in a range of Business Management modules and supervising undergraduate dissertations.

Prior to his journey with the University of Chester, Conor has been involved and helped start a family run business that led to his passion in developing entrepreneurship. This business started from a small cleaning company and developed into the management of five-star holiday accommodation on the Isle of Man. Additionally, he has supported on the National Citizenship Programme (NCS), helping deliver the programme to 40-50 young adults in the Bootle area of Liverpool, raising over £2000 in local social action projects.

During his undergraduate degree Conor was given the opportunity to further engage in entrepreneurship activity, forming a business with some of his colleagues. In this capacity the business were the winners of the Santander Enterprise Challenge and was a finalist in The Pitch an internal University of Chester award, the Young Enterprise Student Start-up Regional Finals and TATA Varsity Pitch 1st round.

Conor has a passion for entrepreneurship, finance, and business strategy. With interests in entrepreneurship ecosystem development and funding solutions for start-ups using finance technology.

In his role as first a Learning Facilitator and then as a Lecturer, Conor has assisted and taught on BU5050: Entrepreneurial Thought & Action, BU4012: Essentials of Entrepreneurship and BU5014: Operational Decision Making. In addition to supervising Level 6 dissertations on BU6024.
