Ross Frisby

Ross joined the University of Chester in November 2015. He was Director of the School of Business at Lincoln College and he has over 15 years of experience in successfully delivering, leading and managing higher and further education courses within FE colleges. Through the development of a broad suite of sport performance academies linked to academic study, Ross was able to provide opportunities for learners of all abilities to take part regularly in sport and exercise whilst also giving elite talent the platform to progress their playing careers.

Ross also works for Pearson as a Centre Quality Reviewer, this role involves monitoring and supporting the quality of the learner experience and the quality infrastructure within a variety of educational centres.

Outside of work Ross is a 4 handicap golfer and a keen racketlon player. In 2015 he won the British National Amateur Racketlon Championship.

Ross’s area of specialism includes Leadership, Management, Coaching and Sport Psychology and he is currently involved with teaching various aspects of the BSc Sport Management course including:
