Steph Hodge

Over 16 years of industry experience within the fashion retail import sector, dealing with major High Street retailers and responsible for all aspects of sourcing, sales and marketing. Developed strategic partnerships between manufacturers, suppliers and retailers which involved travelling extensively throughout the Far East and Europe. Worked in Hong Kong and Singapore for three years within Global Supply Chain Management.

After completing an MSc in International Fashion Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, I started lecturing at the University of Salford moving onto the Warrington Business School where for 7 years I was Head of Department for the Higher Education Faculty specialising in Professional Qualifications. Joined the University of Chester over 3 years ago where I now am Senior Lecturer and Senior University Teaching Fellow.

My particular interests are within enhancing the student teaching and learning experience and student employability with a passion for the student year out placement programme.
