Sue Ollerhead

Sue joined the University of Chester in 2015 and works part time as Senior Lecturer at University Centre Shrewsbury and as a visiting lecturer at Chester Business School at Warrington. She is also a consultant, blogger and speaker in digital and marketing.

With over 18-years client experience in helping businesses and organisations of all sizes both here and in the UK, Sue founded Heads Up Marketing, a Liverpool based agency, in 2010 and has led projects in marketing strategy, social media marketing, online marketing campaigns, email marketing, content strategy and PR.

Sue also tutors Digital Marketing Essentials, Strategic Marketing, Digital Marketing Planning and Digital Strategy, teaching and supporting marketing professionals who are studying for CAM and CIM qualifications.

As a Chartered Marketer, lecturer and practitioner, it is vital to keep in step with the ever-changing micro and macro environment and this is one of Sue’s key strengths. Sue’s sessions combine practical skill-based activities with theory to allow the work experience and education of students to fuel each other. Dynamic, real-time content and case studies are built into each session to create lively learning experiences that will spark lifelong success in leadership and business management.
