Senior Lecturer

School of Computing and Engineering Sciences
Dr Mike Morgan

Mike is a Senior lecturer teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Wales and has research interests in network optimisation, modern heuristics and mathematical programming.

Mike joined the department in 2013 and has previously lectured at both Coventry and Glyndwr University, where he taught a range of subjects including computational complexity theory, formal methods and algorithm design. He is also a keen guitarist and songwriter.

Mike teaches at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels on topics including programming, theoretical computer science, networks and data communications.

Mike research interests include combinatorial optimisation, network reliability and information-centric networking.
