International Students who want to live either at Chester or Warrington can contact the accommodation office by e-mail.

Full time international students arriving in September and exchange students coming for both semesters are guaranteed accommodation if their online accommodation form is received by the agreed deadline of 13th August 2020.

Please note that we can only guarantee University accommodation for full-time students starting their degrees in September. Full-time students who commence their courses in January should contact the Accommodation Office to find out more about the availability of private accommodation.

You will be sent further information on how to apply for accommodation once you have made your deposit payment, or made us your Firm or Insurance choice on UCAS.

When you are deciding where to live while you are studying at Chester, please be aware that the Home Office can ask the University to provide details of the UK address of individual students. If you choose to live outside the Chester area (or Warrington or Shrewsbury area if your programme is based there) your visa may be at risk. To avoid such issues, students should live within 60 minutes travel (i.e. 30 miles) from their place of study

Where will I live?

We recognise the importance you place on your accommodation needs, and our Accommodation Offices at Chester and Warrington will offer help and advice about University Accommodation and private sector renting. Living in University accommodation means that you would be close to the heart of student life and a short distance away from all of the university's amenities and facilities.
