We are committed to developing competent, compassionate dietitians who are equipped with the skills, knowledge, values, and attitude necessary to be effective health care practitioners.
The University offers an attractive and friendly environment, close to the city centre, with access to a wide range of learning resources.
Once you’ve graduated and completed your practice placements, you will be eligible to apply for registration in Dietetics with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (subject to course approval by the HCPC).
Why Study Nutrition and Dietetics with us?
The University of Chester is the only provider of pre-registration dietetic training commissioned by Health Education North West. We actively engage with local dietetic departments to provide you with a course that has an ethos of research and evidence-informed practice, fostering your professional development.
Our teaching staff bring a wealth of expertise to the course including nutrition, the food industry, public health, biosciences, sport and exercise, and of course, dietetics.
